MRD closely collaborated with Simeone Deary Design Group’s team to help conceive a dynamic creative path to revive the abandoned Pabst Brewery warehouse into a destination dining venue, and premiere boutique hotel property in the heart of Kansas City’s vibrant Crossroads neighborhood.

Aparium Hotel Group’s commitment to teasing gems out of rough and tumble project sites was from the outset an ambitious challenge, however the lengthy process was met with glowing reviews, creating a “as cool as it gets” location.

The abandoned Pabst Brewery warehouse with a long a peculiar historic legacy is the inception of this project : an ambitious restoration and the creation of a destination hotel in the heart of Kansas City’s creative neighborhood.

The project’s story includes fusing two buildings, 130 guest rooms, a rooftop bar, two restaurants, an art gallery, ballroom, atrium, many great drinks, wonderful food, and falling a little bit in love with Kansas City.
