The Eden space, designed by Studio Patricia Urquiola, is a triple height glass clad volume at the stern of Edge. During the day Eden offers guests a mesmerizing lens from which to be immersed in the ships voyage, a luxurious location to have a coffee, or a unique place for a masterclass. At night this venue is transformed into a show stopping event space with riggings to support acrobats and stages for performers and musicians.

MRD’s lighting design works within the ceiling design and integrates within the furnishings to allow for Eden to be a lush transfomative environment. Our design establishes Eden’s focal points and then enables, when the show begins, for the architecture to disolve and the excitment begin.

Edge’s expansive pool deck plays host to multiple destination venues, while also displaying stunning visual interest by day and night. Designed by Tom Wright the pool deck includes an elevated running loop, hot tubs, an oversized pool, two dining venues, a garden, and opportunities for quite relaxation. MRD’s lighting weaves between these elements creating a seamless experience reborn at night as a thrilling venue for drinks and star gazing.
